Darren is the Commercial Director for Operations at National Highways, providing leadership, oversight and governance on a £1bn per annum supply chain
portfolio. Immediately prior to this, Darren was the Procurement Programme Director for the organisation’s Complex Infrastructure Programme, designing and
delivering high value procurements with diverse stakeholder needs and extensive governance requirements across Government.
Both of these roles build on 20 years in a consultancy environment, where he was involved in a diversity of investment, regeneration and change projects for public
and private sector clients in social housing, energy, healthcare, local/central government and the emergency services.
Through his roles as an RICS Ambassador and Scout Leader, Darren has a particular passion creating fun environments for young people to develop STEM
skills that will hopefully inspire the next generation of construction professionals.
