What do the public think about homelessness?

Read report in full

The Centre for Homeless Impact collaborated with IPSOS to ask the nation what they think about homelessness.

Key Findings:

Polling across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland revealed that 83% of UK think homelessness is very serious, or fairly serious problem.

The majority of UK think homelessness is a serious problem outside of their local area, and people think homelessness will get worse in the next year.

Most people are not confident that the UK will reduce homelessness in the next few years. A quarter are not at all confident.

We will be releasing a full analysis and written report in January 2025.
